A toilet seat device includes a body 200 which is arranged on a toilet bowl 110 and incorporates a plurality of electric functions, and a remote controller 400. The remote controller 400 is provided with an illuminance sensor 440, a control part 500 which detects a change in detection voltage of the illuminance sensor 440 caused by approaching of a user's body part and detects non-contact operation movement of the electric functions, and a transmitting part 436 which transmits a control signal of the control part 500 to the body 200. At least a part of a light path 404, which introducing light from the front surface of the remote controller 400 to the illuminance sensor 440, is formed with a path directed upward toward the outside, whereby high illuminance light from above can be easily received by the illuminance sensor 440 and a change in illuminance can be easily detected even in the dark at nighttime or the like, which widens the use environment of non-contact operation of the remote controller 400.
