Abstract:
To achieve miniaturization and cost reduction by performing seating detection and toilet seat opening/closing detection by a common sensor.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device according to an embodiment comprises a toilet seat body, a toilet seat opening/closing shaft part, and a sensor. The toilet seat opening/closing shaft part is pivotally supported so that the toilet seat body can be opened/closed. The sensor detects an operation of the toilet seat opening/closing shaft part. Additionally, the sensor detects different operations of the toilet seat opening/closing shaft part during seating and during the opening/closing of the toilet seat, and performs seating detection and toilet seat opening/closing detection on the basis of the result of the detection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
