Abstract:
To provide a toilet seat device capable of suppressing the occurrence of erroneous detection of a human body by noise.SOLUTION: The toilet seat device is provided. It includes a toilet seat, a detection electrode in which electrostatic capacity changes according to seating of a human body on the toilet seat, electrostatic capacity detection means having an input terminal connected electrically to the detection electrode to detect the electrostatic capacity of the detection electrode, a control part for determining the existence/nonexistence of the seating of the human body on the basis of a detection result of the electrostatic capacity detection means, and overvoltage detection means for detecting overvoltage in the input terminal. When the overvoltage detection means detects the overvoltage, the electrostatic capacity detection means is restarted after temporarily stopping the detection of the electrostatic capacity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
