PURPOSE: To improve the durability of developer and obtain rhe copied matter of high densities free from any fog in the background by using the toner comprising containing polyester of acid value within a range of 3W13 at more than 60pts.wt in 75W99pts.wt of the total binder resin.
CONSTITUTION: The toner containing more than 60pts.wt of polyester of acid value 3W13, preferably 5W10, softening point 55W160°C, mean molecular weight 1000W100000 together with less than 35pts.wt of other binder, 1W15 pts. wt of coloring agents and other assistants is produced. Carrier particles are used at 10W 100 times weight the toner in producing the developer. In this way, required charging quantity is reached rapidly and the performances close to those at the manufacture are maintained even after the developer has been left standing for a long time while the copying mahcine is not in use for a long period of time, thus the good quality images which do not cause degradation in image density despite multiple copying of more than 10,000 sheets may be obtained.
