PURPOSE: To obtain a high-quality image which is less fogged by using a spherical resin as a core material of a toner having two-layered structure and using a mixture composed of an electric charge controlling agent and resin having the m.p. higher than the m.p. of the core material as a film material.
CONSTITUTION: The toner having the two-layered structure is formed by forming the film consisting of the mixture composed of the charge controlling agent and the resin having the m.p. higher than the m.p. of the spherical resin having a low m.p. on said spherical resin. Inasmuch as the low m.p. resin is used for the core material and the high m.p. resin for the film material, the high m.p. resin coats the circumference of the toner prior to fixing and, therefore, filming on the carrier and drum filming are decreased. The shells are ruptured and the core material resin of the low m.p. appears at the time of fixing. The fixability is thereby improved. The electric charge characteristic on the toner surface is stabilized and the splashing of the toner and fogging by the deterioration of the electric charge are obviated by coating the charge controlling agent on the core material resin.
