Abstract:
To provide a toner that has a low content ratio of titanium oxide particles and is excellent in fluidity and image quality stability.SOLUTION: A toner of the present invention includes a toner particle. The toner particle includes a toner base particle and an external additive attached to the surface of the toner base particle. The external additive includes specific external additive particles. The specific external additive particles each include a porous titanium oxide particle and fatty acid metal salt coating the surface of the porous titanium oxide particle. The porous titanium oxide particle has a volume median diameter D50 of 0.10 μm or more and 0.50 μm or less. The content of the specific external additive particles based on 100 pts.mass of the toner base particle is 0.1 pts.mass or more and less than 1.0 pts.mass. The porous titanium oxide particle satisfies the following formula (I). (I) 0.8 cm3/g<(BET specific surface area [m2/g]×volume median diameter D50[μm]/6)<3.4 cm3/g.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
