To provide a toner causing no contamination on a back of a sheet even when a large number of printed sheets are stacked, and having good end offset resistance and blocking resistance.

The toner comprises toner particles containing a binder resin and a colorant. The toner shows the following viscoelastic characteristics measured with a rotating flat plate rheometer at a frequency of 6.28 rad/sec. The toner has a storage elastic modulus (G'60) at 60°C ranges from 1.0×10⁷ to 1.0×10⁹ (Pa); and a maximal value (G'p) of the storage elastic modulus exits in a temperature range from 110°C to 140°C and the G'p ranges from 5.0×10⁴ to 5.0×10⁶ (Pa).
