To provide a tongue plaque-removing utensil which can be hygienically used, and in addition, is hard to cause a vomiting reaction, does not hurt tongue, and can efficiently remove tongue plaque by flocking looped bristles on a supporting body.
This tongue plaque-removing utensil is formed of a supporting body 10 at one part of which, looped bristles 20 are flocked, and this supporting body 10 is preferably constituted of a handle part 11 and a flocked part 12 having a flat upper surface, which is connected to the tip of the handle part 11, from the viewpoint of usage. A concrete shape of the looped bristle 20 is not limited such as a circular shape, an oval shape, a semi-circular shape and a semi-oval shape as long as it presents a loop-form, and as the material of the looped bristle, especially nylon, polyester and their composite fiber are suitably used because they have appropriate hardness and elasticity. Also, for the fiber, a fiber of 10-100 deniers is preferable, and for the looped bristle 20, the height from the flocked surface 12a of the flocked part 12 to the top of the looped bristle is desirably made 1-10 mm, especially, 1.5-4.0 mm.
