The tying tool for tying objects including cable harnesses by a band closed by a lock 10 includes a rolling clamp 4 provided on a front face of a tool body 1 and comprising at least a part of a clamp part 5 movably held on the tool body 1, a lock mount 9, a pulling device for pulling the band guided by the rolling clamp 4 and inserted into a lock 10, and a control device for opening the rolling clamp 4 and also pulling the band. The control device is structured so that before pulling of the band is completed, the rolling clamp 4 is opened and a part of its forward protrusion is pulled in.
