PURPOSE:To reduce the occurrence of noise and secure machining ability in a simple structure with an electric drive force by integrally providing super conductive shaft areas at both ends of the shaft of a tool fixing jig, and having them supported by bearings, so that an electric current is switched to flow to magnetic field generating coils which are fitted to the bearings. CONSTITUTION:When an electric current flows to a right-side magnetic field generating coil 20 while a left-side coil 20 is shut off, a magnetic field is generated in the right-side coil 20 where the electric current flows, so as to affect a super conductive shaft area 14 on the same side, and a driving force is generated in the shaft area 14 in axial direction, so that a jig shaft 1 is driven left according to an electric current flowing direction. And as the left-side coil 20 is shut off, it only slides. And then, when the shaft area 14 reaches the bottom area of a left-side bearing 16, it confronts a permanent magnet 18 therein, and a minus effect is generated between magnetic lines of force from the magnet 18 and the shaft area 14, so that the shaft 12 stops without the collision of the shaft area 14 against the magnet 18. Consequently, the shaft 12 which is shifted in axial direction by means of the driving force of the right-side coil 20, stops due to the influence of the left-side magnet 18, so that the stroke quantity of the shaft 12 can be determined. And also, as the right and left alternate flows of the electric current result in the continuous reciprocation of the shaft 12, a work 26 can be ground with a grinding tool 10.
