Abstract:
To measure an edge position in the Y-axis direction in addition to the X-axis direction and the Z-axis direction regardless of the shape of a tool.SOLUTION: A tool edge measurement device 1 includes an X-axis sensor 5 having an X-axis detection surface 6 capable of measuring an edge position by allowing contact with the edge 24a in the X-axis direction, a Z-axis sensor 7 having a Z-axis detection surface 8 capable of measuring the edge position by allowing contact with the edge 24a in the Z-axis direction, and a Y-axis sensor 9 having a Y-axis detection surface 10 displaced only to the Z-axis direction following contact with the edge 24a moving in the Y-axis direction. for changing an output value according to a displacement magnitude of the Y-axis detection surface 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
