Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an equipment wherein exchange of a jaw is unnecessary at the time of change to a pickup of other size die and fine adjustment of a die is easy, by constituting a cooperation centering means arranged on a tool holder and a head, of a three-point positioning equipment. CONSTITUTION: This equipment is provided with a retainer 12, a head 14 and a tool bank. The tool bank is provided with a plurality of tool holders 40, tools 48 are fitted into the respective tool holders 40, and the respective tools 48 are picked up with a head 14. A cooperation centering means for positioning the tool holders 40 on the head 14, and a means for driving the head 14 between the tool bank, a die holder station, and a fixing station are installed. A means which indexes the tool bank in order to index the selected tool holder to a station wherein the selected tool holder can be picked up with the head 14 is installed. In the above tool change equipment, the cooperation centering means is constituted of a three-point positioning equipment.
