To perform easily and quickly a whetstone replacement work without reducing whetstone support strength.SOLUTION: When a whetstone 4 is mounted detachably in the axial direction on a whetstone mounting base 10 for a main spindle 3 through a whetstone flange 8, fastening means 12 arranged in a radial direction of the main spindle 3 is operated from its outside, and thereby each fixing means 11 arranged approximately evenly around the main spindle 3 is fastened to the inside in the radial direction of the main spindle 3.
