Abstract:
To provide a tool holder and a machine tool capable of changing a cutting byte used for processing without needing indexing.SOLUTION: A tool holder 71 mounted to a tool main spindle unit comprises tool holding parts 75a and 75b that hold a plurality of cutting bytes 73a-73d for cutting a workpiece. Tips 73a1-73d1 of the cutting bytes 73a-73d held by the tool holding parts 75a and 75b are positioned away from each other in a first direction N1 along a center axis I of the tool holder 71 and second and third directions N2 and N3 intersecting the first direction N1, and opposed to the workpiece held by a first main spindle or a second main spindle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
