PURPOSE: To facilitate and simplify demounting and mounting of a hose band by means of which an oil pressure hose or a heater hose coupled to a feed pipe for oil and gas by inserting a tool for mounting and demounting a hose band into a piping part for an automobile engine part or other machine device, which has only a space too narrow to allow insertion of fingers and a normal manually-operated tool to effect a work, is fixed.

CONSTITUTION: In a tool for mounting and demounting a hose band C, nipping levers 4 are horizontally arranged to the tip of an actuating part 3 for nipping a hose connected in a crossed state to right and left gripping levers 1 and 10. The nipping levers 4 are caused to nip the operation protrusions of a hose band C fitted externally of a hose to unfasten the band and move the band to the outside of a hose B or from a coupling part between the hose B and a feed pipe A and the feed pipe A is nipped between feed pipe nipping parts. Further, the tool for demounting a hose is inserted between the end face of the hose B and the tool for mounting and demounting the hose band C in a state to be positioned astride the feed pipe A and pressed against the tool for mounting and demounting the hose band C. The tool for demounting a hose causes release of on-off plates coupled in a principle rafter-form state to the tips of the right and left gripping levers 1 and 10, unfolded from each other, through closing of the gripping levers 1 and 10 and slide of the hose B over the feed pipe A for removal.
