To push a wire body, such as a wiring rod, duct, etc., in an underground conduit without buckling the wire body nor giving damages to the existing cables already in the conduit line.
A tool for pushing wire body in an underground conduit line is provided with a cylindrical guide member 5 equipped with two split half bodies 8a and 8b which can be connected and disconnected to and from each other, have half circular arcuate cross sections, and are put on the internal surface of the opening of an underground conduit line T and a wire body clamp cylindrical slide member 6 which is divided into two halves so that the member 6 may hold part of a wire body 4 inserted into the conduit T from both sides in the radial direction and, at the same time, the front side part of which is inserted into the guide member 5 in a state where the member 6 can slide in the axial direction. One the outer peripheral surface of the slide member 6, slip preventing projecting pieces 17 which come into contact with hand of a pushing-in worker are provided.
