Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lock a turret head and a housing on each other without play and enhance the rigidity of connection between the turret head and the housing at the lock position.
CONSTITUTION: A ring gear formed as an internal gear toothing 10 is fixedly connected to a housing 2. A motor driven control body 13 rotatable relative to a turret head 1 is mounted coaxially with the turret head 1. When the control body 13 rotates relative to the turret head 1, control profiles 16, 17 of the control body cooperate with a locking element 7 so that the locking element 1 is moved with its detent teeth 8 into engagement with the internal gear toothing 10 and conversely out of engagement.
