Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth clutch which makes teeth smoothly engaged with each other when connecting clutches.SOLUTION: A tooth clutch 1 employs a constitution which has: an input shaft 7; an input-side rotating member 8 fixed to the input shaft 7; input teeth 9 arranged at the input-side rotating member 8; an output shaft 10; an output-side rotating member 11 fixed to the output shaft 10; output teeth 12 arranged at the output-side rotating member 11; a torque transmission member 13 having first intermediate teeth 21 and second intermediate teeth 22; an axial actuator 14 which moves the torque transmission member 13 to an axial direction between a connection position and a connection-release position; and a ball cam mechanism 15 which generates rotation displacement to the torque transmission member 13 when the torque transmission member 13 moves to the axial direction between the connection position and the connection release position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
