Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing disc for bristle tips capable of simply and quickly rounding the bristle tips of brushes for any kinds of complicated, trimmed shapes as well as brushes with an ordinary trimmed shape, and to provide a method of polishing the bristle tips of brushes using the polishing disc, and a device for polishing the bristle tips of brushes. SOLUTION: The device for polishing bristle tips is equipped with the polishing disc for bristle tips 14 having bristle material 13 as a polishing means on the upper surface of a plate-like base, a driving means 15 drives to rotate the polishing disc for bristle tips 14, and a means 12d to hold a brush holds the ends of bristle parts 2 of a brush 1 to be polished to bring them into contact with the bristle material 13 of the rotated polishing disc for bristle tips 14. While rotating the polishing disc for bristle tips 14, the ends of bristle parts 2 of the brush 1 to be polished make contact with the bristle material 13 planted on the upper surface, and the ends of the bristles are rounded.
