Abstract:
To provide a toothbrush capable of effectively preventing a bristle tuft from coming off a tuft hole.
Bristle tufts 7 of the toothbrush 1 are planted by driving flat lines 6, whose width is longer than the diameter of the tuft hole 5, into a plurality of tuft holes 5 formed on a planting base 4 and double-folding the bristles 7 via each flat line 6 to be planted. A projection part 61 or a cut part is formed on either end edge in the lateral direction of the flat line 6, and the flat line 6 is coated with a resin compatible with the material of filaments constituting the bristle tufts 7.
