Abstract:
To provide a toothbrush that has excellent bristle-loss strength.SOLUTION: A toothbrush includes a head part in which multiple bristle planting holes are provided at a bristle planting surface. The bristle planting hole has multiple filaments fixed thereto by driving a flat wire. The bristle planting hole has an opening shape that is a constricted shape in which parts facing across the flat wire are recessed inward. The toothbrush satisfies 0.6 or more or 0.5 or less as a ratio of a/b and 0.4 or more or 0.3 or less as a calculated value of (d-a)/d, where (a) represents a shortest length in a transverse direction in the constricted part of the bristle planting hole, (b) represents a length in a longitudinal direction of the bristle planting hole and (d) represents a longest length in a transverse direction of the bristle planting hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
