Abstract:
The present invention relates to a toothed belt (1) comprising: a belt body (5) with teeth (2) and grooves (3) disposed alternately at a constant pitch in the longitudinal direction and a back (4) disposed on the back surfaces thereof; and tension cords (6) embedded on specified pitch lines of the back. In the toothed belt (1): the belt body (5) comprises a thermoplastic polyurethane material-containing support layer (11) disposed on the lower part of the tension cords (6) and a cured polyurethane elastomer other than said support layer (11); the support layer (11) is a mixture of said polyurethane elastomer in the thermoplastic polyurethane material; and the two are integrally cured.
