Abstract:
To suppress the exposure (ooze-out) of a rubber composition having no joining part (seam), and forming tooth parts, in a protection layer (fiber member) constituting surfaces of the tooth parts being engagement transmission faces of a toothed belt.SOLUTION: A toothed belt 1 has a plurality of tooth parts 2 which are arranged at prescribed intervals in a belt longitudinal direction, surfaces of the tooth parts 2 are constituted of braids 7 which are formed by combining three pieces or more of braided cords 71, and the braided cords 71 are composed of threads which are obtained by yarn-doubling bulky textured yarns and shape retention yarns which are lower than the bulky textured yarns in elasticity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
