Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive top toy which allows a player to enjoy simply spinning of the top.
SOLUTION: In this toy 1, an upper support plate 22 and a lower support plate 23 are arranged parallel at the tip of a grip 20, a shaft support hole 26 and a gear insertion opening 27 are formed respectively on the upper support plate 22 and the lower support plate 23 and the tip of a shaft 11b of a top 10 is inserted into the shaft support hole 26 while a rack 31 of a pull 30 inserted between the upper support part 22 and the lower support part 23 is meshed with a gear 13 of the top 10. Under such a condition, the pull 30 is pulled out. Thus, with the spinning of the top 10, the top is dropped downward from the grip 20 to let the top spin on a floor surface or the like.
