PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient coating and prolong the life of an electrode, when plasma spraying the inside of a thin tube material.
SOLUTION: This torch head comprises a torch body 11 to be inserted into a tube material 40, a cathode-ray tube 12a which is arranged in the torch body 11 so as to make a direction of the shaft center match with that of the torch body 11, and has a cathode 12 on the tip, an anode member 13 arranged in the tip side of the cathode-ray tube 12a, and a pipe 14 for feeding a thermal spray material, which opens toward a discharge port 18 formed in the anode member 13, and is arranged outside of the torch body 11; and comprises a plasma gas feeding chamber 15 which accommodates the tip of the cathode-ray tube 12a in a non-contact state, an orifice 16, which is communicated with the plasma gas feeding chamber 15 and accommodates the cathode 12 in the non-contact state, and a plasma generating chamber 17 having the discharge port 18 which is communicated with the orifice 16, has an axis approximately intersecting with that of the torch body 11, and faces to the inner surface of the tube material 40, all in the anode member 13.
