Abstract:
To provide a torch which secures safety irrespective of a shape.SOLUTION: A torch 1a includes: a container 2 in which a liquid fuel FU is filled; and a string-like core 4 having an ignition part 41 led-out to the outside of the container 2 and an immersion part 42 which is immersed in the fuel FU in the container 2 at an upper end and at a lower end respectively. The torch further includes an exposure amount adjustment part 5 for adjusting the exposure amount of the ignition part 41 to the outside of the container 2. The exposure amount adjustment part 5 adjusts the size of the flame ignited at the ignition part 41 and extinguishes the flame. With this constitution, when the torch 1a falls down sideways or the like, the flame is extinguished by the exposure amount adjustment part 5, so that irrespective of the shape of the torch 1a, for example, even when the torch 1a is made to be space-saving and long cylindrical stylish shape, safety can be secured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
