Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a torn wheel which eliminates the necessity of high- precision mechanical working, secures a sufficient detecting ability of a sensor and provides an enhanced tightening force with which it is assembled to a detecting shaft.
CONSTITUTION: This torn wheel is made of a metallic plate 11 and has a press-in cylinder portion 12 formed by burring in its center which is pressed into a detecting shaft 1 such as an axle, etc., with a number of teeth 14 provided on the peripheral edge of the torn wheel by press working which are circumferentially equally spaced from one another by notches 13.
