Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier which amplifiers torque by using link mechanisms.
SOLUTION: A torque amplifier comprise a first link mechanism I and a second link mechanism II, each constituted of a driving link 10 or 10' rotatably supported on a stationary link 2 by way of A support points 13 or 13', a driven link 17 or 17' rotatably supported on the stationary link 2 by way of B support points 18 or 18', and a connecting link 12 or 12' which its one end connected to the driving link 10 or 10' by way of a C support point 12b or 12b' and the other connected to the driven link 17 or 17' by way of a D support point 16 or 16'. The C support points 12b and 12b' in the link mechanism I and II are displaceably linked in the axial direction of the driving links 10 and 10' so that torque amplification ranges in which the distance between the A and the C support points becomes shorter than that between the B and the D support points with the rotation of the driving links 10 or 10' are set alternately between both the link mechanisms I, II.
