Title:
TORQUE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTABLE HINGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3763913
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hinge capable of adjusting torque.
SOLUTION: The axial end 33 of an eccentric shaft 3 is connected to a fixed wing 2 through an intermediate ring 21 to stop the rotation of the shaft, and rotation between both curved parts 31 on both ends of the shaft is borne on a cylinder mounting the parts 31 to a rotational wing 1 through bearing 7, etc. The central part of the shaft is made as an eccentric section 32 to make a needle bearing 6 hole by the eccentric section, and when the rotational wing 1 and cylinder are rotated, the front ends of screws 4 and 5 mounted to them are so constituted that they are made to interfere with an outside ring 6a of the needle bearing 6. By the constitution, the rotational wing 1 is mounted to a door and is rotated, and when the screws 4 and 5 are rotated through the cylinder 11, the front ends of them are brought into contact with the outside ring 6a, the eccentric shaft 3 receives lateral-torsional load, and torque occurs between the eccentric shaft 3 and screws 4 and 5. When positions and projection quantity in the circumferential direction of the screws 4 and 5 are selected, torque having appropriate characteristics occurs through the screws 4 and 5 in the case the door is closed.
