Abstract:
To provide a torque converter having reduced cost by integrally forming one-round blades to be arranged on a blade assembly with casting.
The torque converter comprises the blade assembly 50 integrally formed with casting and a shell 80 housing the blade assembly 50. The blade assembly 50 has a plurality of blades arranged in the circumferential direction, a first annular band portion 70 mounted on the outer periphery of the shell 80, and a second annular band portion 75 mounted on the inner periphery of the shell 80. The first band portion 70 and the second band portion 75 are annularly connected to each other via the outer periphery sides and the inner periphery sides of the blades 60.
