The device detecting torque applied to a shaft body includes a sensor module 110 that is arranged on the surface of the shaft body 101 and composed of a sensor chip 112 having a detection coil 201 arranged close to a detection plate 111 with a magnetic strain film and the magnetic strain film, and a fixed side module 120 that wirelessly transmits and receives with the sensor module. The sensor module has a plate semiconductor substrate 301, a receiving antenna 211 for receiving electromagnetic waves wirelessly supplied from the fixed side module, and a transmitting antenna 210 for transmitting signals concerning the detect torque to a fixing section. The transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna are formed on one surface of the substrate, and the detection coil is formed on the other surface of the substrate.
