Abstract:
The present invention provides a small and lightweight torque detector. The torque detector (61) includes a fixed base body (11) having a rotary shaft support portion (14) that rotatably supports a rotary shaft (2), and a movable base body (24) which is supported by the fixed base body (11) in a freely rotatable manner through the rotary shaft (2), a load mechanism (31) that applies a spring forceto the movable base body (24) in a direction opposite to a torque detecting direction; and a detecting device (37) which outputs a detection value corresponding to a rotation angle of the movable base body (24) that rotates in the torque detecting direction. The load mechanism (31) has a spring member (71) disposed on the same position as the rotary shaft support portion (14) in an axial direction; and a stopper pin (32) disposed on the movable base body (24) and bearing the spring force.
