Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque limiter which stably operates for a long period of time by preventing the breakage of a liquid pressure expansion chamber, and is suppressed in a use amount of oil.SOLUTION: Either of a shaft member 10 and a cylinder member 20 has a liquid pressure expansion chamber 32 for pressing a peripheral face of one member against a peripheral face of the other member when transmitting torque. The liquid pressure expansion chamber 32 extends to a substantially-axial direction of one member. The liquid pressure expansion chamber 32 comprises annular weld parts 83, 84 for joining an annular first member 33 and an annular second member 34 to each other at the outside of an axial direction, and oil sumps 37, 38 communicating with the liquid pressure expansion chamber 32 at least at one side in the axial direction, and having cross section areas in a radial direction larger than the liquid pressure expansion chamber 32, and spaces 71, 72 which are different members different from one member are arranged at the oil sumps 37, 38.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
