Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque limiter to obtain a high torque value through compact structure.
SOLUTION: A torque limiter 2 comprises an outside member 4; an inside member 6 disposed inside the outside member 4; an annular disc part 46 formed on the inside member 6; first and second friction disc 8 and 12; and a coil spring 14. The outside member 4 consists of first and second division bodies 16 and 18. The first friction disc 8 is disposed on a surface on which the annular disc part 46 of the inside member 6 fronts on the second end face part 38 of the second division body 18, and the second friction disc 12 is disposed between the first end face part 22 of the first division body 16 and the annular disc 46. The coil spring 14 is disposed between the second end face part 38 and the first friction plate 8 and inside the outside member 4 in a state to hook the shaft part 44 of the inside member 6, and the first friction disc 8, the annular disc 46, the second friction disc 12, and the first end face part 22 are brought into pressure contact therewith.
