Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque limiter which can obtain an excellent stability of torque even in case of using for a long period, and can improve the durability.
SOLUTION: A torque limiter 2 is composed of a rotation input body 4, a rotation output body 6, and two friction members A and B. The friction members A and B, and the rotation input body 4 or the rotation output body 6 contacting to the friction members A and B, a formed of a thermoplastic resin composite, and the thermoplastic composite is composed of a base resin, and the first and the second additives added to the base resin. As the base resin, a polyacetal resin or a polyphemilene sulfide resin is used. As the first additive, one sort or more selected from an olefin system polymer, a styrene system polymer, and a fluorine system polymer, is used. And as the second additive, one sort or more selected from a lubricating oil, a wax, a fatty acid, graphite, molibdenum disulfide, and a phosphate, is used.
