This torque transmission device is provided with a clutch hub 65, a clutch housing 63, a friction multiple disc clutch 67, a pressurizing set 69, and an electric motor 70. The pressurizing set 69 has a pair of internal gears 107, 109, a planetary gear 111 meshing with the internal gears 107, 109, a planetary carrier 113 supporting the planetary gear 111, a sun gear 115 meshing with the planetary gear 111, and a cam mechanism 117 between the internal gears 107 and 109. Each gear ratio between each section among the pair of internal gears 107, 109 and the planetary gear 111 differs, and either of the pair of internal gears 107, 109 is supported so as to prevent its rotation, the sun gear 115 is rotated and driven, and the other units rotate relatively.
