Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque transmission device capable of reliably achieving the in-gear action regardless of the phase between a sleeve and a gear component.SOLUTION: A torque transmission device 100 comprises: a plurality of key members 11 and 12 in a circumferential direction that are supported on the inner peripheral surface 40 of a sleeve 4 and that are movable relative to the sleeve 4 in the axial direction and supported so as not to be relatively rotatable; a step part 43 holding the key members 11 and 12 at a prescribed position on the sleeve in the axial direction; a ring member 5; and key springs 9 and 10. The key members 11 and 12 are supported so that some of the plurality of the key members 11 and 12 move relatively from a prescribed position in a direction opposite to the moving direction of the sleeve 4 if the axial end faces of the some of the key members 11 and 12 abut on the axial end faces of dog teeth 31 of the gear member 3 when the sleeve 4 is moved from a neutral position to the in-gear position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
