Title:
TOTAL HEAT-EXCHANGING ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58124196
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable to obtain a high heat and humidity exchanging efficiency, by a method wherein a moisture-permeable gas-shielding material in which a fibrous porous member formed together with aluminum hydroxide is impregnated with a high-polymeric material containing a moisture-absorbing agent is used as a partition plate, in a total heat-exchanging element for ventilators.

CONSTITUTION: The partition plates 1 and spacing plates 2 are alternately laminated on each other, while alternately shifting the directions of the spacing plates 2 by 90°, to form fluid passages 3, 4 and constitute a crossflow-type total heat-exchanging element. The partition plate 1 consists of the moisture-permeable gas-shielding material in which the fibrous member formed together with aluminum hydroxide is impregnated or coated with a high-polymeric material containing a moisture-absorbing agent. The spacing plate 2 consists of an aluminum hydroxide loaded paper not treated with any chemical, or the like. Accordingly, since two kinds of gas flows are partitioned from each other by the moisture- permeable gas-shielding material, a high heat and humidity exchanging efficiency and a low gas transfer coefficient can be obtained, and a high incombustibility can be obtained.
