To provide a touch panel which has a narrow frame and does not have conduction faults due to a short-circuit.
In the touch panel, an upper substrate in which a transparent electrode 13 and pull-around electrodes 14, 15 are disposed on a lower surface of a transparent insulative substrate 12 and a lower substrate in which a transparent electrode 3, pull-around electrodes 4, 5 and a plurality of dot spacers formed on the transparent electrode 3 are disposed on an upper surface of a transparent insulative substrate 2 are oppositely arranged with a prescribed gap and sealed by rotating around an outer peripheral area of the upper and lower substrates by an insulative sealing material 57, and at least parts of the electrodes 15, 5 are disposed in overlapping each other with a described gap within a width M of the sealing. The sealing material 57 at the gap section between the overlapped electrodes 5, 15 is filled with spacer balls 57b having particle diameters equivalent to the gap distance between the electrodes 5, 15.
