Title:
TOUCH PANEL FOR SWIMMING RACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2707180
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a touch panel for a swimming race with which time is not counted according to unexpected force other than that of a swimmer even when this force is applied.
CONSTITUTION: A resilient plate 6 having a bent part in the middle and having one end reaching a switch upper part is inserted between an upper sensitive panel 1 and a rear panel 2. A bent angle of the resilient plate 6 is set to be more acute than a bent angle of the rear panel 2. The upper sensitive panel 1 and a front panel 2 connected thereto are therefore supported resiliently by the resilient plate 6. With this constitution, the panel operates correctly upon touch of a swimmer, but when force other than that of the swimmer is applied to the upper sensitive panel 1, one end of the resilient plate 6 above a switch 4 slides down instead of moving in the direction to push the switch 4 even when the upper sensitive panel 1 moves. Malfunction of a touch panel can thus be prevented.
