Abstract:
To provide a tower like structure with an inexpensive damping device with small noise.
A lamppost 1 has a tapered part 3 with a hollow interior, a bent pipe part 5, an illuminating lamp 7 and a base plate 9. It has a cable 11 used as the damping device in a hollow portion of the interior. An upper end of the cable 11 is fixed, and the cable 11 is in a suspended state. The cable 11 has a core in a center part and a structure covered by an elastic body in an outer circumference, and a ready-made power cable can be used. By providing the cable 11, vibration of the lamppost 1 is damped.
