PURPOSE: To obtain an excellently soft cable which never generate rotating torque even if a tension is applied with a high strength by successively winding a first tension-resisting wire of two layers stranded in a first direction on the outer circumference of a cable core and a second tension-resisting wire of one layer stranded in the opposite direction into laminated form.

CONSTITUTION: A first tension-resisting wire 12 is wound on the outer circumference of a cable core 11, and this first tension-resisting wire 12 is formed of two-layered structure 12A, 12B. A second tension-resisting wire 13 is wound on the outer circumference of the first tension-resisting wire 12 into one layer, and the first tension-resisting wire 12 and the second tension-resisting wire 13 are mutually stranded and wound in opposite directions. According to this constitution, when a tension is added to the cable, the rotating torque is canceled by the first layers 12A, 12B and the second layer 13 to prevent the torsion of the cable. Further, an extremely soft cable keeping nearly the same tension resisting force as ever can be obtained.
