This town information provision system S provides the town information that is the information of the peripheral area of a rental house to a resident of the rental house by use of a two-dimensional code 5. The two-dimensional code 5 is a code obtained by encoding data including a URL (Universal Resource Locater) comprising an address 33 of a Web page placed with the town information and an identification number 34 attached according to the rental house, and is the code displayed in a display member 6 stuck inside the rental house. An information distribution server 2 has: an identification number extraction means extracting the identification number 34 from the URL when a browsing request of the Web page is given from a mobile terminal 1 of the resident; and a distribution means distributing the Web page placed with the town information corresponding to the extracted identification number 34 to the mobile terminal 1 of the resident.
