Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a transmission of a driving force smoothly by arranging a vertical gear to be meshed with a worm gear mounted on a transmission shaft rotating in relation to a prime mover and with a bevel gear mounted on a fan shaft arranged at an engine section therebetween.
SOLUTION: Transmission shafts 4a and 4b rotating in relation to a prime mover 3 are rotatably supported freely on a bearing 6 in a main wing 2. Moreover, worm gears 8a-8d are mounted corresponding to the engine. A bearing hole 12 is provided at each engine section vertically piercing a mounting part 10a and an engine body part 10b and a bar-shaped gear 13 is inserted therethrough. The upper end of the bar-shaped gear 13 is meshed with the worm gears 8a-8c on the transmission shafts 4a and 4b. The lower end of the gear is supported in contact with a fan shaft 15 pivoted in the engine body part 10b to be meshed with a bevel gear 16 to rotate a fan 14. A cotter leg of the bar-shaped gear 13 is kept by a support cover mounted on an internal bottom surface of the main wing 2 to prevent possible slippage thereof.
