Abstract:
To prolong the saw's life and to keep a noise level lower than an allowable limit.
A track drive assembly is removably supported on a motor- driven shaft 42 and engaged with a spindle 50. An eccentric cam member 118 is provided to perform track movement of a saw blade 58 according to rotation of the motor-driven shaft. A track regulation assembly selectively releases engagement between the spindle and the cam member at least at a part of rotation of an eccentric cam member 118 so as to vary the track route of the saw blade. A regulatable shoe assembly comprises a shoe 194; a shoe support member 202 rotatably supported by a housing; a fixing member 218 rotatably supported by a housing; and a lever 226 connected to a fixing member.
