Abstract:
To provide a traction apparatus which can be simply operated for medical treatment and has high safety and by which a rope for traction can be wound in orderly on a drum.
The drum 12 on which the rope 11 for pulling a fractured part of a bone of a patient is wound and a spring for energizing the drum 12 in the winding direction of the rope are provided and a rotary damper 20 is connected through gears 19 and 20a to decrease the speed of rotation of the drum 12 in such a way that the rope is not suddenly wound by means of the spring, and a tensiometer 22 is mounted on the apex part of the rope 11.
