Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of component elements and make a size of a traction speed reducer compact.SOLUTION: This traction speed reducer 1 comprises a sun roller 20 rotated around a turning shaft 9; several planetary rollers 30 arranged around the sun roller; a pair of toric internal rings 40 contacted with several planetary rollers; and a carrier 50 rotated around the turning shaft while holding the planetary rollers. Each of several planetary rollers revolves around the turning shaft while being rotated by receiving a power force from the sun roller while being contacted with both the sun roller and the internal ring. The carrier has a contact surface opposing against the outer peripheral surfaces of the planetary rollers and the outer peripheral surfaces of the planetary rollers and the contact surfaces are contacted in their peripheral directions around the turning shaft. With this arrangement as above, it is not required to arrange a carrier pin for supporting each of the planetary rollers in such a way that it can rotate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
