To provide a traffic information providing system capable of searching a suitable route reflected with a traffic condition change by acquiring the information of the traffic condition change from the traffic condition transmitting server of public transport, with which the traffic condition change occurs, by a traffic information managing server and updating basic data for route search.

When the change of traffic conditions occurs in public transport the change contents of the traffic conditions are transmitted from a traffic condition transmitting server 30 to a traffic information managing server 20 and after a database for route search is updated corresponding to the change of the traffic conditions, corresponding to a new route search request from a client 40, the traffic information managing server 20 searches a moving route by utilizing the combination of plural transport facilities, acquires an optimal route and transmits it to the client 40. Thus, the optimal route search result corresponding to the present condition can be applied through the client 40 to a user at all the time, the efficient movement of the user can surely be supported and convenience for the user is remarkably improved.
