PURPOSE: To easily load a railway car on the bed of a trailer by laying a rail on the bed and attaching an embarkation rail to the rear end of the bed and then connecting the embarkation rail between the rail on the bed and a railway rail.

CONSTITUTION: When a railway car 28 is loaded on the bed 3 of a trailer 1, the rear end of the trailer 1 first approaches to a railway rail 18 and is stopped where a rail 8 laid on the bed 3 is positioned on the extension line of the railway rail 18. Then an embarkation rail 12 is let to fall around a hinge shaft 13 toward the railway rail 18 by a first cylinder device 19. Subsequently, the hook on the tip of a wire rope 27 is hooked with the coupler 29 of the railway car 28 and a winch 25 provided at the front end of the bed 3 is wound. As a result, the railway car 28 is transferred onto the embarkation rail 12 from the railway rail 18 and is loaded on the rail 8 of the bed 3.
