Title:
TRAIN APPROACH AND ADVANCE DETECTION SYSTEM, DETECTING METHOD AND ON-LINE TRAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3758907
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train approach and advance detection system, detecting method and on-line train management system, capable of being surely operated at low cost.
SOLUTION: When a train is approached to a boudary between blockages 1T and 2T, communication between a transmitter 4 and a receiver 5 in a ground transmitter and receiver having a narrow directive wireless communication region, is isolated. Consequently, communication between an on-line transmitter and receiver having a narrow directive wireless communication region, and the receiving part 5 of an on-ground receiver, is started. The commencement of communication after communication is once isolated, allows it to be detected that a train 2 is approached. Consequently, the restoration of communication between the transmitting part 4 of the on-ground transmitter and receiver, allows it to be detected that the train is advanced. A control device 6 forms up on-line information and the like in a space between the blockages 1T and 2T based on the detection of approach and advance for the train 2, so that the information is thereby outputted to other devices.
